KINGSLEY SIGNS WITH GETSPEED PERFORMANCE & MERCEDES AMG FOR GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE

April 1st, 2022

Jeff Kingsley signs with GetSpeed Performance to run a Mercedes AMG GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe Championship. GetSpeed is a German based team who selected Jeff to join them in the Endurance Championship after a successful test together in Portimao, Portugal. The GTWCE championship goes to Imola, Paul Ricard, Spa-Francorchamps, Hockenheim, and Barcelona. Four of the six races are 3 hours while Paul Ricard is 6 hours and the highlight event at Spa is 24 hours. Jeff will spilt the driving for two co-drivers as they look to bring home the Silver Cup championship this season.

KINGSLEY JOINS COMPASS RACING IN ACURA NSX GT3

Jeff Kingsley is set to drive the #76 Acura NSX GT3 with Compass Racing in the 2021 IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. Jeff will be taking the step up into North America’s most prestigious sports car series as he will compete in the Sprint Cup championship in the GTD Class. After winning the Porsche GT3 Cup Championship last season, Jeff is set to make his mark with Acura on May 16th at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the first race of the championship. After impressing the team in two races in a McLaren 720S GT3 car, Kingsley was able to secure seat for five races in the championship for the 2021 season.

KINGSLEY WINS THE PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP

November 13th, 2020

Jeff Kingsley is the 2020 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA Champion. Following the final round of the championship at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida, Jeff can proudly say that he is the Porsche GT3 Cup Champion. With an amazingly hard fought win in race two, Jeff went on to win the final race of the season in style after a stellar pass into turn 17. Jeff Kingsley claimed the championship with 11 out of 16 wins and had a worst finish of 2nd in the others. Time to celebrate for the young man.

WEEKEND SWEEP AT ST. PETERSBURG

October 25, 2020

Kingsley showed no signs of weakness after his first event at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. It was a clean sweep of a weekend as Jeff was quickest in both practice sessions, qualified 1st by 4 tenths, and went on to win both races. Kingsley had to fend off the 2nd place driver in both races in order to secure the wins on both days. Jeff was untouchable at St. Pete and just like every race this year, no car was able to pass the #16 of Jeff Kingsley. He now extends his win streak to 10 of 14 and leads the championship by 31 points.

DOUBLE WIN AT ROAD ATLANTA

October 17, 2020

After a power issue in qualifying, Kingsley started from P4 in race one and was already into 3rd with a nice pass on lap two. On lap four, Kingsley made a tremendous pass around the outside to take 2nd where he would finish race one. In race two, Kingsley started in 2nd and took the lead in turn one around the outside  before going on to win the race. For the third and final race of the weekend, Jeff started from pole and lead every single lap before cruising to his 8th victory of the season.

MCLAREN GT3 DEBUT AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY

October 12, 2020

Jeff Kingsley made his debut in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship with Compass Racing in a McLaren 720s GT3. This was Jeff’s first WeatherTech event, first endurance race, first night race, first drive in a GT3 car, and his first time at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Kingsley managed to qualify an impressive 4th, just 1.9 tenths of a second off 1st. The race started in the dark with downpour rain. In what was some of the toughest driving, Kingsley brought the car back to the pits in 4th for the driver change. Kingsley will drive the McLaren again at Laguna Seca.

KINGSLEY TO RACE MCLAREN 720S GT3     IN REMAINING IMSA WEATHERTECH CHAMPIONSHIP RACES

September 29, 2020

Jeff Kingsley will join Compass Racing for the final two rounds of the IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Cup Championship. Kingsley will co-drive with McLaren factory driver Paul Holton in the #76 McLaren 720S GT3 car in the GTD class. This will be Jeff’s first time in a GT3 car and in the WeatherTech Championship so he will have a lot on his plate, especially at the first race which is a track he is new to. Kingsley will participate in the events at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval on October 9 & 10, as well at Laguna Seca from October 31 to November 1.

KINGSLEY SWEEPS OHIO WITH THREE WINS

September 27, 2020

The first ever triple-header for the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge took place at Mid-Ohio for round four of the championship. This was Jeff's most dominating weekend so far as he went on to win all three races. Starting second for race one, Kingsley made a tremendous pass for the lead around the outside into the first corner at the start. He would extend his gap to 3.4 seconds as he crossed the line to win race one. He would then start on pole for race two and was only challenged once at a safety car restart before winning race two by 8 seconds. In race three, Kingsley managed to keep the second place driver behind him for the entirety of the race while going on to win his third and final race of the weekend. Jeff extended his championship points lead to a gap of 22 points.

FIGHTING FOR THE WIN AT ROAD ATLANTA

September 6, 2020

The third round of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA Championship saw Kingsley claim his third win of the season at Road Atlanta. Kingsley started the race in second but fell back to third at the start. Making a pass back to second only four laps in, Jeff would eventually chase down the leader and make a spectacular pass on the outside of turn 10 to take the lead. He would then drive away and take a hard-fought win. In race two, Kingsley started from third, but this time got a god jump and moved up to second by turn one. Jeff would then stick to the leaders’ bumper for the entirety of the race, but never get close enough to challenge for a pass. He would however claim the fastest lap of the race and maintain his championship points lead.

WIN NUMBER TWO FOR KINGSLEY AT VIR

August 23, 2020

Round two of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA headed to Virginia International Raceway. After qualifying was cancelled due to inclement weather, the grid for race one was set by championship points meaning that Kingsley would be in first. From the drop of the green flag, Jeff drove away from the field and won the race by over 11 seconds. This marked Jeff Kingsley’s second win of the season in only three races. In race two, Jeff started from the third position and was in an intense battle for the entire race. Jeff moved up to second and was able to challenge for the win on a restart with two laps to go. At the green, Kingsley passed the leader in the grass along the front straight, only to get out-braked into turn one by a masters driver who has ABS brakes compared to Kingsley who does not. With the other driver being able to brake 100 feet deeper, Kingsley stood no chance and would go on to finish the race in second.

KINGSLEY TAKES FIRST PORSCHE GT3 CUP VICTORY OF THE SEASON

August, 2, 2020

Jeff Kingsley stepped into his #16 Porsche GT3 Cup Car at Road America for the first time since the series got suspended back in March. Kingsley, not having driven a racecar for five months was shake the rust of in first practice. That is exactly what he did as he posted the fastest time in not only practice one, but also in practice two. Kingsley would go on to qualify on pole, allowing him to start from the first position in race one. From the start of Saturdays race, Kingsley took off from the field and never looked back. His abilities we tested by two separate full course yellows, however Jeff managed to drive away each time on his way to claim his first victory of the season. Jeff started second for race two and managed to make a pass for the lead in turn two with tremendous style. He once again pulled away from the field to over a five second game. A late full course yellow with 2 laps to go bunched the field back up. On the restart, Kingsley get a jump but hit debris from the previous crash, causing him to go off track. Kingsley would rejoin in second and with one lap in the race could not challenge for the lead. Although Kingsley was set to claim a perfect weekend, he had a superb debut with Kelly Moss Road & Race.

FASTEST IN PRACTICE AT FIRST ROUND OF PORSCHE GT3 CUP

Kingsley arrived at the first round of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA in St Petersburg, Florida to an abundance of unfamiliar faces as he joins a new team for the 202 season. With COVID-19 concerns, Thursdays practice was cancelled as authorities discussed their options. Arriving back at the track on Friday with no spectators allowed and a strong screening process upon entering, it was announced that the weekend would continue for team members only. During first free practice, Jeff would set fast lap after fast lap right from the beginning. At times he was more than 2 seconds clear of second place, finishing the practice a strong 7 tenths ahead of second. Following practice, stakeholders and government officials decided to cancel the event due to the rising spread of COVID-19. Although this was unfortunate news, Kingsley made a good first impression as he melded with the Kelly Moss crew. The next two events have been cancelled as a new schedule is being considered. KINGSLEY TO RACE PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE USA 2020

March 11, 2020

Jeff Kingsley will join Kelly Moss Road and Race for the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge this coming season. Driving the teams lead car, Kingsley will represent the Children’s Hospital of Alabama and Medical Properties Trust, a car that has supported one young driver for the past few years. This pairing will provide a great chance to claim the championship at the end of the season, should Jeff and the team push for strong results. The first race of the season is scheduled from March 13th to 15th at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in sunny Florida. Other venues include Mid-Ohio, Barber Motorsports Park, Road America, Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca, Virginia International Raceway, and Road Atlanta.

KINGSLEY CLAIMS FIRST CAREER PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE WIN

May 17 - 19, 2019

Jeff Kingsley races to his first Porsche GT3 Cup victory at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park at the first race of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada. From the drop of the green flag, Kingsley took control of the race and lead every single lap. Parker Thompson made it challenging as he tried to pass Kingsley numerous times, however it was Kingsley who put on a great defensive drive to claim the victory. This was Jeff's and Policaro Motorsports first IMSA victory.

KINGSLEY TAKES 3RD IN PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE CANADA

September 29, 2019

Jeff Kingsley finishes the 2019 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge championship in 3rd. After many great results, the few cases of bad luck placed Kingsley in 3rd which he believes in not the result him and the team could have achieved. It was an impressive season for the young driver, claiming a win and five podiums in Canada, as well as three podiums in the USA championship.

PORSCHE GT3 CUP CHALLENGE USA ENDS WITH A TIE FOR 3RD PLACE IN CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS

After competing a full season in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA in the JDX Racing #3 Herts/Byers Porsche GT3 Cup Car, Kingsley ties for third in the championship standings. After claiming three podiums throughout the year, Jeff was able to put on an impressive show for his first year in the USA championship. The season was difficult as Jeff had only seen one of the eight tracks on the calendar, but nonetheless he proved his skills as the challenges came.
